This is a great move to fight an attacker who is not armed. But I’m pretty pissed by the title. “It may save the dignity of at least one girl.”
Being unable to fight back someone who is bigger, stronger or who may be carrying a weapon does not mean you do not have dignity, or that you are weak. Being a victim of violence, abuse, rape, or any crime is not your fault.
I completely and 100% support the need for self defence materials to be made readily available.But I do not appreciate the victim blaming undertones of this picture….
